What's In a Name?

I realize that this blog's name is a little bit deceiving. This blog will not be entirely devoted to Harper, our Golden Retriever. However, our daily lives are usually devoted to her (partly because she's needy, partly because she's hilarious and fun to be around) and she is our Renovation Dog who is on site most days "helping" us renovate the house. By "helping" I really mean escaping through microscopic holes in the run-down fence to stake out the neighbors back yard, chewing on any stick she can find or whining when someone doesn't acknowledge her for at least .5 seconds.
